Sep 26, 2011 · Fuji Velvia 100 vs. Kodak Ektar 100: Round 2 In my last post on this topic, I compared the performance of Fuji Velvia 50 to Kodak Ektar 100. Though wildly popular among landscape photographers, Velvia 50 is a notoriously unforgiving film. Film review: Fuji Velvia (100F) vs. Kodak Ektar (100) For those of you who have never shot the two side by side or those getting into or back into film this is just a quick and dirty, for the most part side by side comparison of two very popular colour films.
Fuji Provia 100F was the first type of slide film that I used. I have shot many rolls of it and have been happy with the results. It is a great film somewhere between the drab results obtained with Astia and the over the top colors obtained with Fuji Velvia 50 . Velvia 50. At a Glance. Velvia 50 is back. The original Velvia product provides the High Saturation and Vivid color that has become a Favorite of Photographers. I was so impressed with the first roll I got back, that this is now my 35mm slide film of choice. I like the colors beter then Fuji Astia 100F, and Fuji Velvia 100F. I recently purchased some Kodak Eliter Chrome 100, and just finished shooting a roll to see how it compairs with the Fuji Provia. But so far I am very happy with this Fuji Film.
